PROJECT MANAGER ? TRANSITION PROGRAMME

The Anne Sullivan Centre has been providing services to the deafblind
Community for the past **Apply on the website** years, including
managing and staffing residential houses in Stillorgan, Co Dublin for
adults who are deafblind.

ASC is now embarking on a major transition programme, in line with the
Government?s ?Time to Move On? strategy being implemented by the
HSE. This involves liaising with residents and their families, and
other relevant professionals in order to assess and develop ?_fit
for purpose?_ accommodation for future years, to meet the needs and
preferences of the people ASC support.

To commence this process, the Organisation is looking to employ a
Project Manager on a fixed term 6 month contract. Part-time or
fulltime hybrid work arrangements are negotiable. The suitable
candidate will have a proven record of delivering on complex projects.
In addition, they will have experience of projects requiring
infrastructural change, as well as major People change. The ideal
candidate will have an appreciation of Social Role Valorisation theory
and a working knowledge of HSE/HIQA bodies. They will also be able to
deal with multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously e.g. Housing
bodies, multi-Disciplinary teams, Residents/Family members.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP -

CEO and ASC Steering Group

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -

* Develop a residential property future roadmap, to secure quality
accommodation and infrastructure, that meets the needs and wishes of
the people ASC support.
* Work directly with ASC residents, their families, staff and other
relevant parties, to develop high quality community-based models of
support and service design.
* Develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant
stakeholders and ensuring feasibility.
* Use Social Role Valorisation theory to support enhance and embed
quality in transition, where identified.
* Develop, enhance and practice the skills of capacity-based
thinking, person- centred decision making, partnering, relationship
building and transition planning.
* Coordinate internal resources and third parties, for the flawless
execution in the future, of any move by residents.
* Identify and strategize around potential roadblocks and barriers
in transition.
* Maintain close engagement with senior management, staff and HR to
progress a smooth transition to change for residents.
* Ensure that the project plan is developed, within scope and within
a defined budget.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

* Strong background in the area of project management with a
recognised PM qualification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 or other)
* A minimum of 5 years? experience in project management across a
range of projects
* Proven experience of development and implementation of Service
change
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project or other project
management tools
* Excellent Communication skills ? both written and verbal
* Excellent Interpersonal skills
* Strong Organisational skills including attention to detail and
multi-tasking skills
* Person centred rights focused/Social role valorisation knowledge

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

* Working knowledge of HSE/HIQA standards for residential Adult
Disability services
* Knowledge of Residential Care legislation including the Health Act
